Shaughna Phillips has opened up on the horrifying moment blood poured down her legs while she was rehearsing for The Real Full Monty On Ice.
The 26 year old, who was recently photographed with co-stars Jake Quickenden and Chris Hughes, explained that she found it difficult to get her foot into her boot on the very first day.
Shaughna revealed she had liposuction on her lower legs back in September after being diagnosed with lipoedema. According to the NHS, lipoedema is a chronic condition where there's an abnormal build-up of fat cells in the legs, thighs and buttocks, and sometimes in the arms.

However, following the surgery to remove two litres of fat, she found herself feeling uncomfortable trying to slip on the boots to train for the show, which aims to raise awareness of cancer.
"The first day of training I couldn't get my foot into my boot," she explained. "There was blood pouring down my laces. I was in so much pain.
Shaughna's father Eddie died from cancer in December 2016 after a gruelling 18-month battle, which has motivated the former Love Island star to continue despite the pain.

The reality star, who recently opened up on her worst date that involved her ex turning up and crying, said: "I was skating in my dad's memory so there was no way I wasn't going to do it. Plus I'm an Aries, it's not in our blood to quit."
Speaking about the chronic condition she was recently diagnosed with, she went on to explain how relieved she was as she said: "I just thought I had a big problem area but to know it was a medical condition was a huge weight lifted from my shoulders.
"Half the battle was won as soon as I was diagnosed. I thought I had really bad water retention. I was taking lots of water tablets and had so many near misses when I was in the car."

While they were once "her biggest insecurity,'' Shaughna has said she's gained "so much more confidence" since having the surgery.
"They are still quite swollen so I don't look like Nicole Scherzinger yet but I am really happy with the result," she explained.
"Hopefully I won't have to have the procedure again, but the condition can flare up again with pregnancy so, if that happens, I'll have more surgery. "
