Rupert Murdoch ‘ended marriage with an 11-word email’

He reportedly added as a footnote: “We have certainly had some good times, but I have much to do… My New York lawyer will be contacting yours immediately.”

The news was reported in Vanity Fair magazine and the publication later wrote that Rupert’s plans to marry a fifth time had fallen through after two weeks.

Rupert had previously gushed to the New York Post that he was falling in love for the “last” time and expected to remain with Ann for the rest of his life.

However, weeks later, Ann – who had described their relationship as “a gift from God” – and Rupert called it quits.
