Saying “I do” is twice as nice for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.
On Sunday, the pair wed in a Hindu ceremony at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, People confirmed. Chopra, 36, and Jonas, 26, first tied the knot in a Western ceremony, which took place on Saturday.
For the event, the “Quantico” actress is said to have worn a red sari, whereas the pop star donned a turban and traditional attire.
“It is super important to Priyanka to have an Indian ceremony that honors her heritage and culture, just as it’s important to also have a Western ceremony that honors Nick’s Christian upbringing,” an insider shared with People.
For Saturday’s ceremony, Chopra and Jonas, as well as their star-studded bridal party, wore designs from Ralph Lauren.
Though the newlyweds have been busy this weekend, they’ve also taken the time to share bits of the festivities online, including the pre-wedding Sangeet party and the Mehendi ceremony.
“One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families that love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing,” Chopra shared on Instagram.
