Piers Morgan’s wife Celia Walden 45, has spoken out to deny rumours flying round that she is jealous of the TV personality’s “TV wife” and Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid.

Celia simply scoffed at the idea she was jealous of her husband’s co-host and made it very clear there is no rivalry between the two women.

In fact, Celia revealed that the two got on well and that they have gotten together in the past to discuss Piers. She has told The Sun: “Susanna and I used to b***h about him behind his back.”

Celia speaks highly of her husband’s “TV wife” and describes her as “better at the whole wife thing than me”. She added that Susanna knows how to “manage” Piers.

Piers and Celia are happily married for 11 years after tying the knot in 2010.

Celia added that her husband is nothing like his outspoken-self viewers see on TV and that at home he is romantic, particularly on Valentine’s Day, and he never forgets their anniversary.

Piers Morgan, 56, worked closely with his co-host and fellow journalist Susanna Reid when they presented ITV’s Good Morning Britain together before the outspoken journalist was forced to resign from the £3million-a-year role after making some strong comments about Meghan Markle.

The journalist joined Susanna in presenting the popular morning show in 2015 and worked alongside her until he left earlier this year.

Piers left his role on Good Morning Britain in March 2021 following Harry and Meghan's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey aired and the straight-talking journalist spoke openly about Meghan on the breakfast show.

Following his departure from the programme, wife Celia told her husband to relax and let her “take care of him” – although three months down the line, Celia has openly admitted she is now really keen for her husband to find another job as she’s “sick of him staring at her every morning”.
