Matt's a true showman
I am pretty excited about Strictly and I’m so glad my former dance partner Janette Manrara is back hosting Strictly – It Takes Two. She’s such a talented girl and is a great friend. And she is so good at presenting. I think Matt Goss will be great. He’s toured the world, so he’ll have a real sense of showmanship.
Strictly is actually really hard in terms of learning the dances, but Matt’s performance skills will help him.
I'm a bit jealous of Bradley
Blankety Blank will be back on our screens on BBC One and I love the show’s host, Bradley Walsh. He’s an old friend of mine and I couldn’t think of anyone better to host it.
But if he ever gets tired of it, I’ll gladly step in, LOL. I remember saying to someone at ITV years ago, “Please bring it back!” I’m a fan because I grew up with the show in Australia when Graham Kennedy hosted it.
Off to the land Down Under
Hopefully we’re off to Australia as soon as my run in Grease comes to an end and I’ve finished filming my movie in November.
We still haven’t completed the film yet and we’ve been working on it for months. It’s a comedy that’s based in three locations – England, Jamaica and America.
So, if it all goes to plan, it’ll be December and we’ll all be going to Oz as a family. We want to get out there as soon as we can and stay for as long as possible, but it’s tricky with the kids’ school. They have different timings, which makes it complicated.
Make mine a muffin
Remember Bobby Brown’s haircut in the 90s, where it was much higher on one side? It was legendary. And the muffin I baked last week actually looked a bit like his hair!
Bobby apparently ended up with that hairstyle by accident and it’s fair to say my muffin wasn’t meant to look like that either when it came out of the oven. Total baking fail.
