Peter Andre has confessed he and his wife Emily are “very strict” when it comes to their children Millie and Theo using their iPads.
Revealing the youngsters, who are aged eight and six, can only use the Apple technology once a week, Pete also opened up about how his kids still enjoy some “old-fashioned fun”, too.
He wrote in his weekly column: “Millie and Theo have this practical joke fake poo that they keep putting everywhere. It’s been in the bathroom and in my bed.
“I don’t know where they got it from but they think it’s so funny! I love that we’re in 2022 and the kids still love good old-fashioned fun.
“People complain about technology but I still think kids would always pick the more traditional things over it if we give them the chance.”
The 49 year old continued: “We’re also very strict with Millie and Theo when it comes to their iPads.
"They’re only allowed to go on them on a weekend morning and some car journeys, and we never let them have them in the week on school days.
“Emily is a lot stricter with Millie and Theo than I am, whereas I was stricter with Princess and Junior. I think as I’ve got older I’ve changed my ways and views.”
Son Theo recently turned six and was treated to a number of different toys by his doting parents, but Pete says he was sad to be away working for his actual birthday.
The singer told us: “I was gutted to miss Theo’s sixth birthday as I was away, but we celebrated his birthday before I left and then we’re having a party for him when I’m back.
“I hate missing important things with the kids, it’s the one downside to my job.
“Theo is obsessed with puzzles, so we bought him some and we got him a toy car that he’s been driving up the walls. We also bought him a scooter.”
Proud mum Emily, 33, also posted a sweet tribute to her son on his special day, as she shared an adorable snap of herself holding him in her arms as they embraced tightly.
In her caption, the NHS doctor wrote: "Happy 6th birthday to my lovely little Theo. Such a kind and caring boy [red heart emoji] We are so proud of you! Love you so much xxxxx @peterandre".
Pete is also dad Princess, 15, and Junior,17, with his former wife Katie Price.
