Famous faces from across the world of entertainment are getting their make-up done and slipping into their designer clobber ahead of tonight’s show.

They’ve been uploading snaps of their preparations as the countdown begins to the glitzy prizegiving in Los Angeles.

Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid gave fans a glimpse of the dress she’s wearing and her finished hair and make-up.

She’s going to the awards show to present coverage for GMB with co-star Piers Morgan.

Susanna compared herself to Joan Collins in a post on Instagram .

She wrote: "Channelling my inner Joan for the Oscars.

"Dress @isabellkristensenofficial #Hollywood ."

Actress Gabrielle Union also got in on the act by sharing pictures of herself getting a zit zapped.

She had a beauty therapist come to her home to give her an early morning facial before the Oscars.

The America’s Got Talent star captioned it: "Get that zit".

Another star getting ready early was Kaitlyn Jenner, who shared pictures of herself getting her make-up done.

The sports star-turned-reality regular was seen wearing a white dressing gown as she sat in a hotel suite getting primped and pampered.

A Star is Born, starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper and Vice are also big hopefuls, with eight nods each.
