Ollie Locke and husband Gareth expecting twins after three years of trying for family

Made in Chelsea's Ollie Locke took to Instagram to reveal that he is expecting twins with his husband, Gareth, after three years of trying for a family.

On Sunday, Ollie, who joined the Channel 4 reality show in season one with Jamie Laing, Spencer Matthews and Sam Thompson, shared a compilation video that featured an ultrasound scan and some of his favourite moments with his husband.

Alongside the touching video, Ollie, 35, wrote in the caption: "We are beyond delighted to finally be able to share the news that we are expecting twin baby Locke-Locke’s into the world this summer!

"You have all been so wonderful throughout the last 3 years of us trying to have a family and we promise to share every step of this adventure with you all.

"For all those on their own journey to become parents we are with you and sending all the baby dust your way! Thank you to our sensational surrogate @bex7ward for being the most incredible human, the love we have for you and your family is just another level! Xx."

Fans, friends, family and co-stars rushed to the comment section to celebrate the news, with Gary Lineker's son, George, penning: "Congrats gents."

Reacting to the momentous news, Jess Wright, who is the sister of Towie's Mark Wright, wrote: "Congratulations."

Ollie's co-star Binky Felstead wrote: "ITS HAPPENING BABBBBBAYYYYY’s!!!!!!"

"Yaaaaayyyyy!!!! Those gorgeous twins are so lucky to have you two as their Daddies! Love you," gushed former Doctor Who actress Pearl Mackie.

"OMG that’s amazing news ! So happy," wrote another fan, as someone else added, "I am so buzzing for you both!"

Ollie and Gareth's road to parenthood has not been an easy one after first revealing that they were expecting via surrogate back in June 2021, though sadly, the IVF failed.

They later lost a heartbreaking five embryos, and in December, he revealed that his surrogate had miscarried while chatting with Emily Blackwell and Miles Nazaire.

Ollie explained: “Can I tell you something really savage as well? And this is a weird personal thing, and I know this isn’t how I should be feeling. And I know this. But I get so embarrassed that I haven’t even called my dad yet.”

“The reason is, I feel weird emasculated,” Ollie continued. “And I know that’s really silly but that’s me talking frankly to you guys.”

“I feel embarrassed that it hasn’t worked for us,” he added.
