Nick Mason Discusses Possible ‘Animals’ Box Set

Nick Mason says foresees a box set celebrating Pink Floyd‘s 1977 album “Animals” in the future.

“It’s just sort of slow because of differences of opinion about how to do it or what to put on it, but I’m sure it will eventually happen,” he told Rolling Stone.

“Of all our albums that have been re-released, that’s the one that would benefit the most from a sort of reworking,” according to the Pink Floyd drummer.

Mason is set to embark on a North American tour with his new band, Saucerful of Secrets, next year.

The tour will begin on March 12 and conclude on April 22.

Mason hinted that former Pink Floyd singer and co-founder Roger Waters may put in a guest appearance at one of those shows.
