Paloma Faith has revealed she has turned to putting cabbage leaves on her breasts in an attempt to soothe her nipples after welcoming her second child.
The 39 year old announced she had given birth to a baby girl with her husband Leyman Lahcine earlier this week.
But, just three days after welcoming her bundle of joy, the singer announced she has been diagnosed with acute breast engorgement.
According to the NHS, breast engorgement is "when your breasts get too full of milk and can happen in the early days when you and your baby are still getting used to breastfeeding."

They continue: "It can take a few days for your milk supply to match your baby's needs."
The Only Love Can Hurt Like This hitmaker turned to her 601,000 Instagram followers to share a photo of her cabbage-covered breasts.
She wrote alongside the black and white image: "Day 3 and my milk has come in…
"I've been diagnosed with acute engorgement. This means I have too much milk and the baby isn't big or strong enough to drain it and get it out. It's painful. The boobs are rock hard.
"I'm trying massage while feeding, it hurts so much like a deep tissue massage and not much is helping.
"Hot showers/massage/hand expressing and poor baby is really over it with the exhausting hard work she needs to do to get the milk out of all those swollen blocked ducts.

"I've been told it should settle. Let's hope I don't end up in a and e with it before that!
"This is some next level pain! Mum life is REALLLLLLL," she continued to tell her fans.
Fellow celebrity mum Myleene Klass offered: "Been here so many times. Cabbages didn't work for me but feeding and pumping did. Hang in there supermum."

Paloma announced she had given birth on Monday, writing on Instagram: "Well I'm not pregnant anymore!
"I had a planned c section yesterday I'm in a lot of pain and didn’t sleep last night but it's worth it to see and meet the new little cherub I have infront of me."
