Michael Sheen has announced his girlfriend Anna Lundberg is expecting a baby.
The Good Omens actor, 50, took to Twitter on Wednesday night to share the brilliant news, not long after news broke the two were a couple.
‘Very happy to let everyone know that my partner Anna and I are expecting a little angel of our own,’ the star wrote.
He added: ‘(Just to be clear – we’re having a baby!)’
The actor, who plays an angel in the Amazon Prime show, comically added the tag #nottheantichrist, with a selection of delightfully angelic emojis, including the Swedish and Welsh flags to reflect the parents-to-be’s homelands.
According to reports, the star, 50, who has a 20-year-old daughter with Kate Beckinsale, has been in a relationship with 25-year-old Anna since May.
Amid speculation the two had begun dating, they seemingly confirmed their relationship when the model was by his side at the London premiere of his TV series, Good Omens, revealing she was ‘overwhelmed’ with pride for her beau.
Sharing a string of snaps from the bash on Instagram – including one of herself and Michael gazing into each other’s’ eyes, she wrote: ‘What an incredible night to be a part of!
‘I’m overwhelmed with pride and couldn’t be happier for Michael & the cast.’
Posting another photo of the dad-of-one in New York, she added: ‘So, so, so proud of this angelic face.’
Their relationship comes after his split from actress Aisling, 35, whom he first met back in 2014 on the set of Masters Of Sex.
However, it wasn’t until last April that the former couple were linked for the first time, following their appearance at the Olivier Awards.
He previously dated Sarah Silverman for four years, following an eight-year romance with Kate – with whom he shares daughter Lily Mo.
Kate is yet to respond to her ex’s baby news, but we can only assume her witty remark is on its way, seeing as the two have remained incredibly amicable and close since they parted ways.
