Temperatures have truly plummeted over the past few days, with Tuesday bringing a little surprise of some warmer waves. However meteorologist Lucy Verasamy, 41, had some bad news that winter is here, and it’s here to stay.

The UK is known for its fluctuating temperatures but as we head into December, the bitter cold isn’t going anywhere any time soon.
Posting a weather update on Twitter, the MetDesk account shared the news.
“A brief milder interlude today, but don’t get too used to it…” they penned.
“Back to bitterly cold business as usual from tomorrow!”
Wanting to keep her followers in the loop, Lucy shared the post with a little message of her own.
“A one day wonder,” she sighed.
“A cold snap will bite back.”
One fan replied: “Got to love a proper British Winter.”
It wasn’t long ago that the Good Morning Britain weather girl was enjoying the September heatwave.
Taking to social media, she shared a stunning post where she wore a skintight tweed miniskirt.
The ITV presenter relaxed against a hay bale after spending time working on her latest Marks and Spencer’s campaign in the Midlands.
Lucy paid homage to the last few days of summer with the series of sunny snaps.
Donning a smart trilby hat, she casually leaned against the bale as she gazed into the distance with a hand on her hip.
The TV star dressed appropriately for the weather as she gave her 155,000 followers a flash of her toned legs.
Matching the skirt with a navy, round-neck T-shirt, Lucy looked every inch the country girl.
Having clearly enjoyed her summer, she celebrated her sun-drenched days in the caption.
She wrote: “What a summery September it’s been so far!
“A reminder of sunny days mid summer when I learnt about (heatwave!) honey.
“It was fascinating to hear all about the honey making process from master bee keeper David – was hooked on his every word & then got to taste the honey straight from the hive/honeycomb!!
