Kylie Jenner has been met with an onslaught of criticism over the building of her new $15 million mega-mansion, as aerial footage is captured of the ongoing project.
The new home is under construction in the Calabasas area of LA, jut a stone's throw away from homes belonging to Kylie's mother, Kris Jenner, 67, and her sister, Khloe Kardashian, 38.
Some critics of the project have pointed out that Kylie already owns two mansions in LA, a $36.5million resort-style compound in Holmby Hills and another $12million property in Hidden Hills.
Pictures of property, which is set to boast seven bedrooms and 14 bathrooms were posted to the SubReddit r/KUWTKsnark, which describes itself as: "A place for Kardashian Jenner Cynics, Kritics, Skeptics, Doubters, Lurkers, and Hippo-Krisy's."
The Reddit user who posted the photos, shared them alongside screenshots of a number of headlines of various controversies that have surrounded the family in the past, including Kris Jenner being accused of sexual harassment by her former security guard, something she has always denied.
The post, which was titled: "Greedy. When will it all fall down?!?" sparked a huge amount of criticism towards the Kardashian-Jenners and their "greedy and wasteful" behaviour when it comes to properties.
One commenter wrote: "Multiple million dollar homes and some not even lived in. Doesnt [Kris] have a condo that she forgot she had, to the point that the fridge had rotting food? She even said she uses the condo as a gift wrapping station. So f***ing wasteful."
"Legit I will never understand why wealthy people need 1436 bedrooms and 478 bathrooms. They will never be used. Ever. I doubt they will even go in those rooms" added another.
While a third asked: "Why would you have twice the amount of bathrooms than bedrooms?? Do they all have to sh*t multiple times a day??"
And a fourth added: "Meanwhile the thousands of homeless aren’t very far away mama!"
Kylie has been embroiled in a number of controversies recently, which have only worsened since the feud between her pal Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez has heated up.
Fans of Selena accused Kylie and Hailey of making fun of her eyebrows after the former Disney Channel star shared a TikTok video of her beauty look, and captioned the post: “I accidentally laminated my brows too much.”
Just hours later, Kylie (who Selena recently dethroned as the most followed person on Instagram) posted a photo of her own eyebrows to her story, accompanied by the words: “this was an accident ?????”
In the evening, Kylie was joined by Hailey, who is married to Selena’s ex Justin Bieber, on FaceTime as the friends zoomed in and out on their eyebrows.
Both Kylie and Selena have since put the rumours to bed, with both of them slamming the claim that they are feuding.
Beneath a TikTok that covered the drama, Kylie wrote: “This is reaching. no shade towards selena ever and i didn't see her eyebrow posts! U guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.” Soon enough, Selena added: “'Agreed @kyliejenner. It's all unnecessary. I'm a fan of Kylie!”
