The Kardashians may be a family that live their lives very much in the public eye but when it comes to their siblings being targeted online, they are quick to close ranks and set the record straight.
The latest spat with fans of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars has seen Khloe Kardashian hit back at fans who had questioned the parentage of Chicago West.
This followed Khloe’s sister Kim posting a throwback photo on Instagram of herself from when she was a toddler.
Captioning the pic with, "Baby K," it brought a response from Kylie Jenner, who commented, "Omg Chicago," as if to indicate that 38-year-old Kim was a spitting image of baby Chicago.
The youngest Kardashian was born almost a year ago to Kim and Kanye West, via a surrogate, and this is what prompted an adverse reaction from some of Kim’s 122 million Instagram followers.
One doubting fan commented that Chicago, "would either look MORE like Kanye or the surrogate mother," questioning whether Kim was actually the biological mother.
Of course, this was not going to be overlooked by the Kardashian clan and Khloe, 34, was quick to put them in their place.
Kim’s younger sister wrote: "If you don’t really know about someone’s situation then maybe you shouldn’t comment. Try informing yourself first before you make such silly statements doll.
"Your passive wanna be petty comment is simply uneducated. Chicago is completely Kimberly’s biological child. Praise the lord she was able to have a surrogate and that we are blessed with sweet gorgeous Chi Chi."
The Instagram user wasn’t going to go quietly though and came back at Khloe, saying that they, "never said the baby wasn’t beautiful."
They went on to repeat their claim about the child’s parentage, by reaffirming their claim that, "she did have a surrogate so the baby would either look MORE like Kanye or the surrogate mother. That’s all love."
Khloe was not going to let this follower make such assumptions and told then not to comment about something that they, "don’t know anything about."
As the spat continued, Khloe posted: "I am not saying you said that love, I am saying you must be more informed before speaking on something that you don’t know anything about apparently. Chicago is Kimberly’s DNA. Her and her husband made embryos and then they were blessed enough to have a surrogate carry their child for them since Kimberly is unable to. God bless modern medicine."
That seemed to put the argument to bed and Khloe went on to further comment: "Always gorgeous just like both of your baby girls!!!! Blessed!!!"
