Kerry Katona separated from daughters over Christmas as she battled exhaustion

Kerry Katona was separated from her daughters over Christmas as she battled exhaustion due to her gruelling panto schedule.

Mirror Online can reveal the shattered star, 37, only got one day off over the festive period and had to spend it without her eldest two kids.

Molly, 17, and Lily-Sue, 15, spent the holidays with their dad Brian McFadden instead.

They both shared pictures of their perfect Christmas with Brian, his girlfriend Danielle Parkinson and the couple’s extended family.

A source told us: "Kerry’s only day off was Christmas Day.

"She was onstage two or three times a day and was exhausted.

"The girls weren’t there as they spent Christmas with their dad.

"They take it in turns every year."

Single Kerry, who divorced Brian in 2006, is believed to have had a quiet day with the rest of her kids .

However, she hinted at her troubles in an emotional post on Instagram , in which she asked for anyone feeling "unwell and weak" to be given strength.

As well as the two girls from her marriage to Westlife star Brian, Kerry is also mum to Heidi, 11, and Max, 10, with Mark Croft, and Dylan-Jorge, five, with husband number three George Kay.

Lily-Sue returned to her mum after Christmas and even got on stage with Kerry at one of her last panto shows before the production wrapped.

Kerry had been entertaining audiences in Northwich as the wicked sister in Cinderella opposite Tricia Penrose.

After the panto finished this month, Kerry told fans she was once again struggling with her mental health.

In a post on Instagram, she wrote; "Not going to lie…

"Struggling to adapt back to reality after panto…

"Can’t find my mojo. Mental health is a f***er."

It comes after Kerry revealed she lost two stone in six weeks using slimming injections.

She has been showing off her body makeover online after getting help from her Real Housewives of Cheshire star pal Ampika Pickston.

Kerry is believed to have been living with her friend during her panto run.

Her next project will see her back on TV as she’s signed up to appear on Celebs Go Dating.

She recently revealed Molly encouraged her to go on the show to find the kids a new dad.
