Katie Price’s son Harvey shortlisted for a major award following success of hard-hitting documentary

Congratulations are in order for Katie Price's son Harvey who has been nominated for a major gong following the release of his BBC documentary earlier this year.

The 18 year old has been shortlisted for the Celebrity of the Year Award at the National Diversity Awards, with the winner set to be announced in February 2022.

Anna Kennedy OBE revealed the exciting news on Tuesday as she shared a post on Instagram while tagging Katie and Harvey.

She wrote in the caption: "Congratulations our #Antibullying Charity Ambassador @officialmrharveyprice Go Harvey Good Luck @ndawards."

Anna was particularly delighted by Harvey's nomination as he is an ambassador for her autism charity, Anna Kennedy Online.

Every inch the proud parent, former glamour model Katie shared Anna's post to her Instagram Stories.

Back in January, Harvey, who has Prader-Willi syndrome and autism, melted viewers' hearts following the release of the BBC One documentary, Katie Price: Harvey and Me.

The documentary followed Katie and Harvey as they attempted to find a residential college for Harvey to move into to have his own independence.

It was recently reported that the documentary helped land Harvey his own reality show with best friend Zack, who also features in his documentary.

A source told The Sun Online: "The plan is to follow the friends and film their experiences together.

"It will also raise awareness and give hope to kids with disabilities. It's a positive and inclusive move. They get on really well together and enjoy being on camera."

A spokesperson for Katie told the publication: "I can confirm that talks are underway for this exciting project with Harvey and Zack."

Harvey is Katie's eldest child. She is also mum to Junior, 14, Princess, 13, Jett, seven, and Bunny, six.

As well as his television success, Harvey recently launched an anti-bullying clothing collection to raise awareness for trolling and Katie's campaign against trolling.
