Jacqueline Jossa has opened up on mum guilt in a very honest social media post, admitting she feels "lazy" if she doesn't work.

The 28 year old shares daughters Ella, six, and Mia, three, with husband Dan Osborne, 30, who is also dad to seven year old son Teddy from a previous relationship.

Former EastEnders star Jacqueline has told fans that she feels torn between wanting to spend every second with her children and also wanting to provide for them.

Taking to Instagram, she shared an image of Teddy, Ella and Mia enjoying ice cream with her 3.2million followers, writing: "Best weekend ever just doing random nothings with you lot. I just wouldn't change a think. Love you loads!!!!"

She then made her confession of guilt, sharing adorable photos of Ella and Mia crafting as she wrote: "Isn't it so hard being a working mum. I feel like if I'm not working I'm being lazy and turning jobs down that next year may not be around.

"This industry is so fast paced and can end so quickly, sometimes it's hard to say no. Being a mum is a full time job too!

"Whenever I am working I feel so guilty and just want to get back home too them, conflicted with also enjoying myself on jobs and feeling so grateful to be doing them."

She continued: "I am so lucky that working can blend and fit in most of the time, my kids and family are number 1 always.

"I have so loved giving myself the time and focusing on jobs that fill me with joy and give me purpose.

"Last few months I've been working on getting the balance right. I want to provide the best for my kids but I want to spend every second with them too. I needed to find balance because I just wasn't happy and felt so stressed all the time."

Jacqueline finished her heartfelt post: "I think I've worked it all out. My kids are and have always been everything."

The confession comes after the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner decided to skip the NTAs earlier this month in favour of "family loving."

The actress posted a selfie of herself and husband Dan with Ella and Mia enjoying some quality time together at a bowling alley.

She explained on Instagram: "We decided not to go to the NTAs this year, first time in 10 years I haven’t been.

"I just really feel so tired and needed some family loving…my girls are everything. Bowling was worth it.

"I'll be there next year but I just didn't fancy it. Wow 10 years of NTAs. I've been here a while ay!"
