Jack Osbourne denies working as a border patrol agent

Jack Osbourne will not be protecting our borders anytime soon.

The former MTV reality star, who appeared on “The Osbournes” alongside father, Ozzy Osbourne, mothe,r Sharon Osbourne, and sister Kelly Osbourne, shot down rumors that he is working as a border patrol agent in a Facebook post Monday.

“Fake news. ? I DO NOT WORK FOR BORDER PATROL. I’m a reserve law enforcement officer close to the border,” Osbourne, 33, said in a response to a Radar Online story that quoted an anonymous source who allegedly worked with the reality star.

According to the source, Osbourne had “gone through some major training, including with assault weapons, and he’s dedicated a lot of his time to it.”

However — as fans pointed out in the comments — Osbourne’s law enforcement career took place on TV over a decade ago. In 2007, Osbourne appeared on CBS’ “Armed & Famous,” a reality show that followed celebrities to Indiana as they underwent real-life reserve police training.

Page Six reached out to Osbourne’s publicist to inquire about his career, and a rep said he is “doing nothing at present.”

A press release posted Tuesday showed that Osbourne does have something in the works, though. He has teamed up with paranormal researcher Katrina Weidman for a new Travel Channel series called “Portals to Hell,” in which the duo will explore haunted locations.

“I’ve been obsessed with the supernatural ever since I was a kid,” Osbourne said in the release. “I’m excited to team up with Katrina to investigate the darkest, most sinister places on earth.”

Osbourne also confirmed the news on Instagram. “Portals to Hell” premieres April 19 at 9 p.m. ET.
