Hero Fiennes Tiffin nails the bad boy act as Hardin in the After movies. But while he shares a few minor details with the character (his accent!), he’s mostly nothing like him. So who is this very, very attractive man IRL? I did a full internet investigation into the actor so you don’t have to go through the trouble. Some of it may surprise you (he’s never been in a relationship), and some of it will excite you (he was in Harry Potter). To be clear, all of it likely will make your obsession with him grow stronger. Let’s begin!
The accent his character Hardin has? Yup, that’s real. Cheers to that!
He’s a model.
He has walked in fashion shows for Dolce & Gabbana and Ferragamo. Casual! He also starred in a four-minute film directed by Baz Luhrmann for an Erdem and H&M collaboration. The campaign involves a flower-covered mansion where it’s “always spring” and a dramatic love triangle. Please watch the whole thing below, and help me manifest a full-length feature film based on it.
He was in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Hero played a young Tom Riddle in the flashback to when the unknowing wizard was in an orphanage speaking with Dumbledore for the first time—a key moment in the boy’s Lord Voldemort origin story.
His family works in the entertainment industry.
His uncles Ralph and Joseph Fiennes both act. Ralph is one of the many actors who played Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter franchise and is most closely associated with the role. Joseph has been in a handful of shows you’ve likely seen including American Horror Story and The Handmaid’s Tale. Hero’s parents, Martha Fiennes and George Tiffin, hold a number of titles. His mom is a film director, writer, and producer. His dad is a writer and filmmaker. There’s no shortage of creatives in that fam!
He’s never been in a relationship.
I know, it’s surprising for a guy who has every heartthrob requirement in the book—an equally intoxicating smoulder and smile, luscious hair he (and you in your dreams) runs his hands through, and a charismatic demeanor. All that, and he’s ridin’ solo. “I’ve never had, like, a proper relationship,” he said in an interview. “I haven’t had a girl I would call my girlfriend.” That means he’s not, and has never been, in a relationship with his After co-star Josephine Langford—sorry to disappoint, Herophine stans! You’ll have to stick to shipping Hessa.
He supports Black Lives Matter.
Currently, there’s a link in his Instagram bio to a website that hosts ways anyone can help the cause from signing petitions to donating.
He likes dogs.
Allow the below collection of photos featuring Hero and one lucky dog to bring you some much-needed calm and joy. My personal favorite is the second to last photo in which they’re both smiling.

He has two middle names.
They’re Beauregard and Faulkner. That makes his full name Hero Beauregard Faulkner Fiennes Tiffin—maybe the most original string of names in existence?
Now that we’ve established all of this…
You may continue to stan him at an intensity level you feel fit.
