Former soap star Denise Black, 63, has stripped off for an empowered picture and told her followers she is “proud of her body”.
The actress, who has previously starred on both Emmerdale and Coronation Street, took to Instagram to share the confident snap.
Sharing a selfie taken as she stood in front of her mirror, the actress showed off the full length of her figure from behind as she held her arm out to the side.
The star’s silvery locks were styled loose and natural, and she also wore glasses as she concentrated on the angle for the shot.
The former soap star captioned her empowering post with: “I have decided to post this.
“I am very proud of my body at 63 – and this after a wasted lifetime of finding fault.
“Life’s too short (not me, LIFE). Enjoy it all! Even the pain. All of it.”
The star went on to promote her new project, a play called Mum.
She also said she is so “very very happy” to have got the role in the fabulous project, and is excited for her fans to see it.
“It’s a Belter of a play,” Denise added. “Hope you can come (and don’t worry, I’ll be wearing clothes) #mybody.”
The actress’ fans and colleagues in the film and theatre industry praised her for the snap, as she received an overwhelming response from her followers.
It's A Sin creator Russell T Davies commented: “Wonderful xxx.”
While another fan posted: “Incredible and fabulous, quite right to be proud!! xx.”
