Chris Packham, 59, was joined by Megan McCubbin, 25, to host a recent live stream for The Self-Isolating Bird Club, when they discussed conservation. The Winterwatch presenters often share cheeky anecdotes about their family life and it was no different when talk turned to bathing.
The BBC presenter discussed enjoying a relaxing bath when Megan dished on a moment that caused a stir in the Packham household.
Chris began: “I ran my bath lukewarm but it then got cold so I put the hot tap on, and I could have gone just like that…”
He made a gesture pretending to lie down in a bathtub, before adding: “I could have just gone.”
Megan interjected: “That’s very descriptive.”
Chris replied: “Yes, but I had to get out. I had things to do.”
She chuckled: “I love that you gave a description of your bath. I’m sure that’s what everybody tuned in to hear about the rising temperature of your bathwater.”
She wouldn’t let up, as he queried: “Well, what do you do?
“When you run the bath, don’t tell me you run it and then you get in it, but don’t top it up with hot water?”
Megan said: “It depends on the situation. If there are bath bombs going on.
“You know, I love a bath bomb. An ethical bath bomb, obviously.”
He mused: “You don’t ever spoil my bath with anything like that.”
Megan then reminded Chris of the time she almost caused a “commotion” and he was not pleased.

The small-screen star revealed she let off a bath bomb with glitter in his bathroom, for herself to enjoy while she was staying with him.
“Do you remember when I put the pink [bath bomb] in your tub and it went everywhere?” she recalled.
“There was glitter everywhere. I was not his favourite person for a very long time.”
She added: “It caused a bit of a commotion.”
Chris placed his head in his hands, as the Winterwatch presenter sighed loudly.
Megan chuckled: “But anyway, we’ll get off our bickering.”
Meanwhile, Chris will join Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch to discuss his latest TV offering.
