Inside Chloe Lewis’ stunning pregnancy photoshoot after opening up about grief for miscarried twin – EXCLUSIVE

Chloe announced she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Danny in May.

After sharing the happy news with her fans, Chloe candidly opened up about the tragic loss of one of her twins in an exclusive interview with OK! magazine.

Reflecting on her experience with the heartbreaking condition called vanishing twin syndrome, she explained how she feared the worst when she noticed she was bleeding around three months into her pregnancy.

Chloe said: “The next day I booked a scan with a private doctor, and she said: ‘There’s baby number one and baby number two.’ I was shocked.

“But then she said she could only see one of the embryos, so it was either behind the other or I had lost it. I told her about the bleeding and she said that I probably had lost it.”

The reality star had to wait three agonising weeks to find out for sure if she had miscarried, during which she “didn’t know how to feel”.

She added: “The doctor told me not to get my hopes up, which I didn’t, I expected there to be one baby so I wasn’t totally heartbroken when I went back and was told I had lost one.

“The doctor did confirm the twins had been identical. That was so sad for me to hear. I kept thinking this one is going to come out and they would have looked exactly the same. This is common, though; it’s called vanishing twin syndrome.”

The 28 year old then grieved for “about three months”, she added: “I felt like I had gone into a hole, like I had lost a child. I felt like I had done something wrong because it was my body. Was I going to the gym too much? You start questioning yourself.”

Chloe then managed to begin to overcome her loss with a strong support network.

She said: “I know people who have carried twins all the way and lost one during labour so I felt like I was being stupid dwelling on something that was nothing anyway. I had to close the door on it and think that it wasn’t a fully formed baby and people go through so much worse.”
