Aliens: Sigourney Weaver stars in thrilling 1986 trailer
She’s known for her character Newt, but now Carrie Henn looks totally unrecognizable after ditching acting for a career worlds away from Hollywood.
The former child star worked alongside Sigourney Weaver in the 1986 classic, Aliens.
At only 12-years-old, Carrie won worldwide hearts after playing an alien massacre survivor in the famous flick by James Cameron.
She went on to win Best Performance by a Younger Actor/Actress at the Saturn Awards.
Despite a successful start in showbusiness, Carrie didn’t continue and left the industry entirely.

Her only other acting credit is voice work in the animated movie Thunder Island in 2020.
Now 47-years-old, Carrie went on to become an elementary school teacher.
Speaking of her Hollywood exit in 2016, Henn explained acting “wasn’t [her] passion”.
She told Tulsa World: “That’s what a lot of what people have a hard time understanding.”

Carrie added: “They don’t understand that [acting] wasn’t my passion. It wasn’t my dream.
“Did I enjoy it? Yes. Was it an amazing experience?
“Absolutely. Would I do it again? Of course.
“But it wasn’t my passion. Teaching was.”
