Alex Reid's fiancée Nikki Manashe has been rushed to hospital after her waters broke at just 18 weeks pregnant.
Alex, who was once married to former glamour model and reality TV star Katie Price, 44, already share daughter Anastasia, who turns two this year.
The 47 year old influencer revealed the harrowing news on Tuesday 21 February, when he explained to fans that he was waiting for more information about his girlfriend's condition in hospital.
Nikki started suffering from complications with her second pregnancy on Monday, when she was rushed to hospital by Celebrity Big Brother star Alex himself.
After hearing her screams piercing through the house, Alex found his wife-to-be crying and scared upstairs with "blood everywhere" on the floor.
Alex and Nikki have been trying to get pregnant via IVF for the last seven years, and are now expecting non-identical twins.
"I'm currently sitting in hospital, where my mrs has finally got to sleep, she's been up for more than 24 hours. We rushed her in last night after I was downstairs and I heard a scream," the star began his post.
"I did my best to get upstairs as fast as possible, which took some time because of my hips. I came upstairs and I saw blood everywhere. My mrs is 18 weeks pregnant and she actually told me to calm down which was unusual."
Alex went on to say that he managed to calm down from the ordeal and got his fiancée to the hospital safe and sound after going into "dad mode" for his family.
"We've had tests, we've been told different things and don't know entirely what is going on. She's lost a lot of blood, her cervix is still in tact but it's scary," the reality TV star continued.
"We have to pray, she doesn't go into labour in the next 3-4 days, because that could be game over."
Nikki has since shared her own updates from hospital, as she admitted to feeling "scared and emotionally broken" about the fates of her unborn children.
It turns out that Nikki has a "low lying placenta," which has been causing issues for the twins, and the bleeding she initially experiencing is still happening.
The pregnant mum was also given a series of possible scenarios from her doctors, with the best case being that she manages to stay healthy along with the babies, and the pregnancy continues to full term.
Other possible options include Nikki giving birth to her twins prematurely in the next 24-72 hours or only one manages to survive.
The star explained that she will be staying in hospital for the "foreseeable" and will attempt to "take each day as it comes", as she has to "be brave" for her daughter Anastasia.
"Please have us in your prayers tonight," she added.
Alex echoed his wife-to-be as he shared on Instagram: "We pray they make it to full term, I ask that you watch over her and my unborn children, and please help them to reach 23 weeks so that they can have the steroids they need to develop and breathe.
"Please provide them with the strength, health, and protection they need during this difficult time," he added.
Alex and Nikki welcomed their first daughter in 2021 after seven years on IVF and six miscarriages.
The stars were "shocked but super excited" as they announced they were expecting once more in January.
Alex was married to Katie Price between 2010 and 2012.
