Ichiro Suzuki, 45, signs minor league deal with Seattle Mariners in hopes of triumphant return

Ichiro Suzuki, who may also become a future unanimous Hall of Famer, made his comeback attempt official Wednesday by signing a one-year, minor-league contract worth $750,000 if he makes the Seattle Mariners’ roster, an official with direct knowledge told USA TODAY Sports.
