CRYSTAL PALACE have reportedly slapped a whopping £70MILLION price tag on Manchester United target Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's is said to desire young homegrown talent to base his rebuilding job around – leading to an opening offer of £40m for the player, 21.
The Eagles shunned that bid and believe they have no need to sell the right-back, according to Sky Sports.
And yet it is understood that Wan-Bissaka wants to sign for United.
The opportunity of moving to Old Trafford is not seen as something that can be taken for granted and thus the defender is pushing for a summer move.
Negotiations have hit a stumbling block, though, thanks to Palace's reported £70m demands.
Whether United can cut the fee down to something more manageable could be a big test of executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward's abilities.

ZINEDINE ZIDANE is absolutely determined to sign Paul Pogba, according to L'Equipe.
Real Madrid have attempted to placate their manager's demands by offering a move for Christian Eriksen instead of the Frenchman but he is not for turning.
Their report names two problems with the deal: Pogba's wage demands and the tricky relationship between agent Mino Raiola and Madrid.
Nevertheless, he is said to have no intention of staying with United.

ROMELU LUKAKU is looking increasingly likely to swap Manchester for Milan.
And Inter fans seem very happy to be snapping up the Belgian forward.
Despite a great level of inconsistency at Old Trafford, ex-Nerazzurri boss Andrea Stramaccioni has compared him to Italian great Christian Vieri.
Speaking to Radio Sportiva, he said: “The arrival of Romelu Lukaku would be brilliant.
“He reminds me of Vieri.
“In Serie A it is difficult to find skilled player such as him, both technically and physically.”
